Over the holiday weekend, an accident happened involving an 18 wheeler and three other vehicles on Interstate 10 in the south Texas area. Police immediately came out to the scene an spoke with all the witnesses as well as the driver’s of all the vehicles.
According to the statements of the drivers, the 18 wheeler hydroplaned on the freeway and lost control. The 18 wheeler then hit and drove over the median wall that was between the opposing lanes. The 18 wheeler then proceeded to hit three other vehicles and stopped in the middle of the opposite lanes.
The truck was carrying some fruits and vegetables that were spilled when the accident occurred. The truck driver and the three other vehicles he hit were taken to a nearby hospital for injuries that they received in the accident. Police have yet to release a statement as to the status of the people in the hospital.
